KENNETH C. BERRY, IIIDoctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine
Dr. Kenneth Berry has been a certified hypnotherapist since 2000 and a practicing acupuncturist since 2007.
From 2007-2021, Dr. Berry owned and managed Asian Therapeutics, a multi-provider acupuncture clinic in Sacramento, California. He and his colleagues were known throughout the community for their efficacy in treating a variety of pain and other health concerns.
Dr. Berry specializes in the treatment of women’s health. Over the years, he has helped many of his patients with issues such as PMS, menstrual cramps, menopausal symptoms, and fertility challenges. He especially loves caring for his pregnant patients all the way from conception to birth and beyond.
As a clinician, he centers the patient in their own healing journey. He uses acupuncture to engage the body’s innate capacity to self-regulate. Healing is an inside-out process.
Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Berry is also an academic. He taught for over six years as an assistant professor at the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley, California. He also served as a dean at the college and had the opportunity to represent acupuncture education in the United States at the 15th International Congress of Oriental Medicine in Chiba, Japan.
Dr. Berry has taught Oriental medical theory, acupuncture therapy, and acupuncture channels and points classes as well as practice management and practice building classes.
Owing to his special interest in facial acupuncture, Dr. Berry developed and delivered an online continuing education class focused on the treatment of Bell’s Palsy using acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.
Dr. Berry currently resides in Mexico City, where he practices cosmetic and therapeutic acupuncture in the famous La Condesa neighborhood.
